After three years of service to Illinois Mining Institute Board outgoing secretary/treasurer, John Dodd, accepted his Excellence in Service Award. The IMI is grateful for his contribution to the group.
The IMI was pleased to award Robert H. Fox with the Honorary Member Award. This year Robert celebrated his 46th year in the coal mining industry. Robert has been lending his expertise to the Illinois Mining Institute at the annual event. He works with the high school student tours each year to pass on his extensive knowledge of the industry.
